We’re going back in time
A decade of memories, music, and murals
Can you believe it? 3,236 days later, and we’re still here. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’re looking back on all the dang memories, music, and murals that have filled Sudbury's streets and hearts.
We asked you to take a step back in time with us and share your favourite memory from the past 10 festivals, these were the highlights!
“Racing to the pop up venues”
— @anne_boulton
“Dancing with new friends and feeling truly loved.”
“Octatonic Decadence in the Riverside Tunnel”
— @nixian
We couldn’t have done this without you: our friends, our team, our supporters. For all of us, the music has served as the soundtrack to our summers, weaving together memories across starlit evenings (an early mornings), impromptu dance gatherings, and the palpable energy we shared.
“Friggin Stars. Space Helmet.”
— @ducttapesilver
And then there’s the murals, the psychedelically scenic backdrop to our adventures together. Artists from around the world and in town have transformed Sudbury's walls into an urban gallery. They’re more than just art—they're landmarks of memories made. Walking through Sudbury feels like flipping through the a scrapbook, now, each mural a page filled with colour, meaning, and a touch of magic from years past.
“Organ Mood pop-up show!”
— @lqfoy
“Charlotte Cardin acoustic set”
— @reagansoucy
As we mark year 10, this is a celebration of not just art and music but of togetherness and shared experiences. It's about the volunteers who give their time, the artists who share their talents, the partners and sponsors who make dreams a reality, and the attendees who bring it all to life.
Here’s to a decade of Up Here festival. Lets make this year unforgettable!
“Hooded Fang in the Y parking garage was great”
— @k__ormsby
