We're not out of the woods yet! Here's how we're dealing with COVID-19 at Up Here 8

All participants, festival-goers, artists, volunteers, and technicians are expected to follow public health guidelines for outdoor and indoor public spaces.

Our biggest priority is keeping each other safe. With another wave of COVID-19 currently underway, it’s more important than ever that we ensure we’re still practicing social distancing and masking up indoors.

If social distancing is impossible, everyone is expected to wear a face covering properly. Up Here can provide face coverings if someone does not have one.

When it’s not possible to socially distance, we ask that you consider masking up and protecting others around you.

Masking up indoors

All festival goers are strongly encouraged to wear masks in all indoor spaces including at Place des Arts, at all off-site venues, and at Up Here Headquarters.

Bottom line: When in doubt, mask up.

Don’t be a jerk. Respect each other. Mask up when in doubt. We want everyone to enjoy this year’s festival safely.

It’s important that we all understand the risks.

Attendees understand and agree that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. We ask you to please take what precautions you deem necessary to protect yourself and others when attending any performance.

If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, if you have a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, or if you have been in close contact with a confirmed case, please stay home and do not attend a performance for the safety of other festival goers, our team, and our artists.
