We’ve always thought the real headliner of Up Here festival is, and always will be, Downtown Sudbury. Up Here, by its very design, wants to celebrate everything that’s so weird and wonderful about our downtown.
Downtown Sudbury is our homebase. It’s where most of us live, where we have the vast majority of our shows, where most of our murals are. It’s where we gather with friends, have some drinks, sell some merch, and hang out all weekend long. The Townehouse Tavern (206 Elgin St)
Bar games, pool, live performances, and damn good beer…The Townehouse has been Downtown’s music hub for over 30 years, presenting over 1,000 shows from artists from around the globe.
