Artist Statement
This piece is a celebration of our human connections, from unexpected bonds found in shared moments to longstanding kinships. We Boogie at Sundown finds influence in both modern surrealism and woodland stylization, with symbolism in this piece being carried out in a playful way. The mural depicts the bird and the dog dancing with each other around the sunset, expressing the wonders found in peculiar encounters.
