This mural represents the concept of the struggle between good and evil, each wolf representing a side.

BirdO was told a Cherokee story while in Sudbury. It went a little something like this: Inside each of us lays a battle between two wolves. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is good. It is joy, peace love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The one that wins is the one that you feed.

Birdo

A high school nickname that has now turned into his artistic persona, BirdO is known for his colourful abstracted take on the traditional animal form. He draws a lot of inspiration from organic shapes you find in nature, however, when we look at the sky and grass, we think blue and green, in BirdO’s world anything goes! BirdO utilizes the principles of graphic design in his painted works and treats his surfaces as editorial layouts which make his animals easily identifiable with their unique look and composition.
